Charcoal printing

We made our own charcoal, then created this beautiful art work with it, whilst others sang by the fire or perfected their shelters.

Making cordage bracelets, rope walks and lassoing!

Oak class enjoyed lots of different bushcrafts yesterday. They made cordage with lots of different natural materials. They had to show resilience and perseverance with this. Ask them about it! Some children tried the blindfolded rope walk, whilst others had a go at lassoing! There were lots of Oak, charcoal painted, super learning heroes yesterday ☺️

Wild food

Yesterday we foraged for leaves to make tea: nettles, creeping Charlie and bramble. We learned how to handle nettles without getting stung. Some of us made bread to enjoy with our tea, then we finished it off with s’mores. Yum!
