Teeth investigation

We are investigating what might happen to our teeth, if we don’t brush them after having certain foods or drinks. We used white, hard-boiled eggs, to replicate our teeth. The shell would be like the enamel. Each child designed their investigation, then their class decided what they would like to test. We have made predictions. What are yours?

Dragon art

Thia afternoon we have been working on our dragon eyes in class. We have transferred our preliminary sketches onto bigger paper, then some of us have started to water colour them, drawing on inspiration from Jackie Morris’ book, Tell Me A Dragon. 

Teeth!

We have been looking carefully at our teeth and feeling the difference between them with our tongues. We thought about what the different teeth do, when we bite into an apple. 

After that, we used play dough to make some teeth! Ask me to name them.
