We have been learning about Anglo-Saxons and the natural resources that they used to make their clothing. Last Friday we went foraging for plants that could provide natural dyes for our wool. We rubbed some of them onto our sheets, to see what colours they might give.
Then we cooked some! We were amazed by the colours that came out of the plants.
Look at all the different colours that can be made from natural dyes.
